DocZeno Terms of Use

Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the DocZeno app, made by RichLabs, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

App Store downloads: if you got DocZeno from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple’s EULA wins.

Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use DocZeno on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.

You may not:

Your documents

Your documents and their contents belong to you. DocZeno processes them on your device and we don’t receive them (see the Privacy Policy).

You are responsible for:

Smart features are a help, not a guarantee

Text recognition, Smart Extract (totals, taxes, dates, items, contact details), smart names and categories are automatic. They can misread or miss information.

Always check the results before you rely on them, for example in accounting, tax, expense or legal matters. Redaction removes the selected content from the saved copy; check the result before you share it.

DocZeno Pro

DocZeno is free to download, with ads. DocZeno Pro removes ads and unlocks extra features. It’s offered as:

Prices are shown in the app before you buy and are set by the App Store or Google Play in your currency.

Subscriptions:

Lifetime: a lifetime purchase unlocks Pro on your store account for as long as the app is offered. Use Restore purchases on a new device.

Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple or Google, so refunds follow their policies.

When Pro ends: if your subscription ends, Pro features stop. Your documents stay on your device, and you can still open and restore files in the Private Vault.

Ads

The free version shows ads from third parties. We aren’t responsible for the content of ads or the sites they lead to. See the Privacy Policy for your ad choices.

Third-party services

DocZeno uses services from Apple, Google, Meta and RevenueCat (see the Privacy Policy). Their own terms apply to them.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering features of the app. We may update these terms, and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that recognition and extraction results will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or documents, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app or DocZeno Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.
